Check-in
Check-in will be in the lobby of the Grand Ballroom on the university campus. The event will start promptly at 8:00am, so please arrive early. You will need to check-in, sign forms, find your assigned training area, set-up your equipment and put your belongings away, so allow for enough time to do all of this before class starts.
Equipment & Set-up
Everyone that is not flying in from out of town should be bringing the following equipment: A pair of small(1-5#), medium(8-10#), large(15#+). If you do not lift larger weights, 1-15# weight is enough, a yoga mat, a footstool(wider base preferred & 6-18" tall. If you need assistance unloading your weights, come to the registration desk and someone will assist you.
Training
This is an introductory class to PUSH Fx. You will be focusing on using your body in a precise way to get through each movement & exercise. You will be holding postures while instructors make corrections and doing slow repetitions correctly. You will NOT be pumping fast, hard reps, but you will be working hard. You will also practice applying what you learn in the exercises to specific types of movements. Some will be simple, some more challenging. This is not a boot camp style seminar, but come prepared to work!
Hydration & Food
Everyone is going to be encouraged repeatedly to stay hydrated. If you perspire a lot, you should plan on bringing electrolytes or electrolyte drinks with you. People will be encouraged to use the bathroom as necessary and not wait for bathroom breaks.
You will be asked to eat snacks during the breaks in the lobby and not during class. Lunch breaks will only be 1 hour, so you will be encouraged to bring your lunch and eat on campus or use the campus food locations. Campus dining and nearby restaurant information will be provided at the registration desk.
Safety
Safety guidelines will be laid out at the beginning of class and we will remind students frequently to follow these guidelines. Everyone must be responsible and disciplined during the 2 day training and not try to do more than your body is capable of doing. We are going to ask everyone to check their egos at the door and to listen to the instructors and your own bodies to help prevent injuries from happening.

Additionally, we will be following the State of Colorado Guidelines for Covid-19 Safety. Everyone should feel free to wear a mask during the seminar if you are more comfortable doing so.
